Sketch Design (Virtual Furniture Design)
Description of video
Sketch design. Two designers walk in and start sketching in 3D. Using a 3D stylus - a coffee table, chair, and lamp are drawn in "free 3D space". Computer analysis of their movements create the models within the virtual room. A 3D prototyping machine creates the models using laser heating and a heat-sensitive resin. The models are realized in the machine.
Push table and it walks
Description of video
Man pushes table, table legs move as if walking.
Rotating table expands and contracts
Description of video
Expanding table. The top of this table rotates and expands at the same time. Pie-shaped pieces of the table-top move outwards and slot into place. Rotating the table in the opposite direction lifts the pieces out of their sections and back to the original size.
