Mannequin in Window

The Magical Mannequin by Peter and Russell of South Wales, UK - is a magic show and an effective way to draw crowds to your shop window. Maybe you need to something different for your window display this fashion season - give 'The Magical Mannequin' team a call! They combine magic and statue-like poses to skillfully mimic a real shop window mannequin. Passers-by will only know they're real when they move. A small wink of an eye will gain their attention. Did that mannequin wink at me? They'll turn to look, but the mannequin will be dead still. As they turn to walk away, a tilt of the neck, ever so slightly - "No that can't be!" - looking again, closer this time - the mannequin smiles gently! These will be the most realistic mannequins you'll ever have in your shop window!

Human Statue Entertainers

Human statue entertainers (see these photos here), are street entertainers who use a form of mime art, using make-up and fabrics to make themselves look like statues. They will use bronze paint or similar paints to make themselves look like real statues. If you're interested in seeing human statues in London, then everyday near the London-Eye near Waterloo station, a few human statue entertainers present their talent to the public. You can also try Covent garden, here's an example photo of a human statue.

Tableau vivant

Tableau vivant is French for 'Living Picture', and is an early form of Parisian entertainment or performance art where actors would dress-up and stand still as part of "painting". See here for a description.
