About The Sun

The Sun is the bright shining star at the center of our Solar System.

The Sun's size (diameter) is 1392000 km, which is 109 times bigger than Earth.

The Sun is made of 75% hydrogen and 23% Helium with 2% trace elements like oxygen, carbon, neon, iron and other elements.

The sun is 4.5 billion years old and will shine as a normal star for another 5.5 billion years.
