"I have just bought my first pair of Uggs and am so delighted with them. I worried about the expense and questioned whether it might be wiser to buy a cheaper brand of a similar boot like the Emu. However, I tried both on and Uggs were by far the most comfortable. They are so luxuriously lined that there is no need to wear socks as your feet are cocooned in the softest sheepskin ever. I have yet to test out this but apparently Uggs maintain the temperature of your feet, keeping them cool in summer and snugly warm in winter - but I can verify the warmth! You can change the look of these boots too, by rolling the top down, and they are perfect for tucking your jeans into without feeling too tight around your legs. I've worn my Uggs on icy mornings and my feet have been toasty warm all day, I've worn them in the rain and my feet have remained dry and my Uggs had no stainmarks at the end of the day.
