" This is the cheapest piece of furniture I have ever bought in the most hilarious way possible. I recommend purchasing it just for the fun of it. And as it turns out, it holds coats too! Actually, it is totally functional, you have to put it together yourself and for the most part it seems to be actually made of wood except for the rings at the top and the bottom which are plastic. And each piece (there are 13) comes wrapped in an excessive amount of saran wrap rather than... say... a plastic bag. But it's up and it's plenty sturdy., LGH, Pittsburgh

A Bentwood font. This font takes its name and the overall shape from modern bentwood furniture, namely Scandinavian designs since the 1940s. The curved corners of the letter-forms are practically hyperbolic, to convey the tension and strength of the bent plywood. These curves are meant to appear more dynamic than the circular or elliptical segments of traditional sans serif fonts. The letter-forms are simplified, without extra corners, stems, connections or hooks, yet remain legible at any size.
