Converse history

Converse means 'opposite theory' in maths - so these must be funky boots for smart kids! Converse shoes and boots are made by Converse - an American shoe company based in North Andover, Massachusetts. The Converse All-Star originates from the original basketball shoe of 1917 when it was endorsed by basketball legend Chuck Taylor. The Converse has a canvas upper with signature patch and accent foxing stripe with matching inner tongue. The shoe also features vulcanized rubber outsoles for increased traction and flexibility.
