I received my boots today and for less than �30 I really don't think there is anything that you could fairly complain about! They are wide boots but I wouldn't say they were overly long. I ordered a 7 and am usually a size 6.5-7. They are generous but I wouldn't want smaller with socks on. There is about 0.5 " free at the toe and not any more than that. As for the UGG v EMU debate, "You pay your money and take your choice". I would say the Emus have a much stronger sole and are more structured than UGGS. The heel and toe are reinforced inside to provide better wear and this means they also retain their shape better and your foot is less likely to slope over to the side. The UGGS are softer, have little structure, so are more comfortable on the foot to begin with, but don't provide support or retain their shape. If you factor in cost, then you absolutely cannot beat the Emus. At this price you could buy four pairs of Emus and have change from one pair of UGGS. So it really boils down to whether or not you need to have that UGG label and if it is worth the extra �100+? (and in my case that was a no brainer especially as I need the extra structure that the reinforced Emu provides!)", , DB
