Tutorials

To draw a mannequin you'll need to start practising drawing using the outlining technique. This means sketching ovals, circles - and a few rough lines - indicating the position of the major body parts, joints, and drawing guides. These lines act as a guide for you to add detail at a later stage. Ensure that you have the correct proportions for the head, body, arms, hands, legs, and feet - and that the mannequin will fit on the page. Mannequins are great for creating poses and experimenting with quick sketching to play with a concept.
