About Ladybirds

A ladybird is a small beetle. In the USA they are called "ladybugs" whereas in the UK they are called "ladybirds".  The preferred term by experts is "lady beetles" as these are not bugs nor birds!

Ladybirds are useful agricultural creatures because they eat aphids and other small insects.

Ladybirds are found in brown, orange, and yellow wings with black spots.
