Welly week is an unofficial National celebration of the humble British Wellington Boot.  It is usually held in the last week of April.There are two Wellington boot weeks. April showers bring May flowers: Welly week is in April when the mud starts increasing due to April showers October/November: welly week is in the middle of October when the Autumn rains start creating muddy fields.
